Process

How it works

Built around PCS, TDY, and TLE timelines, not tourist seasons. We make it simple to book or list your home with confidence.

  • Verify

First, verify your identity via Stripe and create your account. Enter your property details (address, payment, and terms). Your listing is verified before going live using 1 out of 4 options.

  • 2. Inquire / List

Search for properties near your duty station or post your property for verified guests to see.

  • 3. Book / Get Paid

Move in with confidence or receive guaranteed, secure payments on time—every time.

From the CEO/Founder of BaseNest

Hi, I’m Moises Morla, CEO/Founder of BaseNest and a proud retired Navy veteran of 26 years. Having moved over a dozen times, I know firsthand how stressful a PCS move can be, especially finding a comfortable, short-term home in an unfamiliar place.

That’s why we started BaseNest. It’s built by a veteran, for those who serve, to make your next move feel less like a mission and more like coming home. Whether you’re relocating or have a space to share, we’re here to make it easy for you.

Verified Both Ways

Guests and hosts are verified before any booking is confirmed. What we verify stays between you and BaseNest.

Secure Payments

BaseNest ensures every transaction is handled simply and securely, giving families peace of mind as they transition.

Admin Oversight

Transparency comes first. Guests and Hosts can check reports, track payments, and download records any time.

I AM A GUEST

Find homes that fit your budget and duty station. From a few nights on TDY to an Extended Stay after a PCS, BaseNest connects you with verified Hosts near your installation.

I AM A LISTER

List your property with confidence, knowing your guests are government-verified.
