Our Mission

Moises is a proud Navy veteran who recently retired after 26 years of service as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. Throughout his career aboard six submarines and four major commands, he led Sailors through critical missions and earned multiple awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal and three Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals.

One of Moises' most impactful contributions was facilitating over 10,000 PCS moves for service members and managing government travel logistics totaling over $10 million. This hands-on experience gave him a deep, firsthand understanding of the unique challenges military families face during relocations, a passion that now drives his leadership at BaseNest.

Today, he brings the same loyalty and commitment to BaseNest that he brought to the Navy, while enjoying quality time with his wife and two children.

As a military spouse, I experienced firsthand the stress families face when receiving orders to a new duty station, arriving in an unfamiliar place, committing to a home without knowing the area, and trying to create stability for loved ones in the middle of constant change.

When I became a Realtor, I made it my mission to serve military families by easing that transition. I recognized the need for interim housing options without long-term commitments, giving service members and their families the chance to settle in, explore the community, and then find the home that truly fits their needs.

My goal has always been to provide a one-stop, stress-free experience so families feel comfortable, supported, and confident every step of the way.

With 20 years in the staffing industry, I’ve had the privilege of connecting companies with the top technical talent they need to succeed. I founded Quest Resource Solutions to specialize in placing high-level architects, engineers, and cloud/security leaders who can drive transformation. Alongside that, I co-founded Quest AI Solutions, where we design and implement smart AI solutions that solve real-world problems and help organizations unlock new value.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me on the water chasing the next big catch or in the stands cheering for my South Florida teams, the Dolphins, Heat, Marlins, and Panthers. I bring the same passion I have for sports and fishing into the work I do every day: teamwork, strategy, and the pursuit of results.

BaseNest grew out of a deep appreciation for those who serve. Having seen firsthand the challenges that come with military relocations, we wanted to create something that made life a little easier, not just for service members on the move, but for their families as well. It’s about honoring their sacrifice with practical support that makes every transition feel a little more like.
